James Maverick has been a fixture in the Southern California poetry community for the last baker's dozen years, hosting and curating readings at Gorky's and Highland Grounds in Hollywood, Sam's Book City in North Hollywood and Insomniac: South in Redondo Beach. His works have been published in The Moment, as well as the Onyx Farewell anthology. In addition to his writings, James also produces and hosts 622 Soul Street on www.killradio.org and has a new reading series planned for the beginning of the new year. |
